Deborah Zarek, MD, FACP, DIPABLM
Dr. Zarek (she/her) is a native of Los Osos, California. She graduated from George Washington School of Medicine and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Christiana Care Health Center. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and is board certified by the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
Her interests include preventive medicine, as well as a special interest in lifestyle medicine. She was Chair of the Young Physician Section of the Medical Society of Delaware for 4 years and received the Delaware Young Physician of the Year award in 2007 “for her leadership and dedication to the medical profession in our state, and for her energy, enthusiasm, and vision in leading the Society’s Young Physician Section since 2005”. Dr. Zarek also served on the National Council of Young Physicians for the American College of Physicians from 2009 until 2012. In 2014, she received the Leonard P. Lange Award from the Delaware Chapter of the American College of Physicians. This annual award is given to honor an internist and Chapter member who “exemplifies in his or her personal and professional life the qualities of an outstanding internist”. Dr. Zarek enjoys hiking, kickboxing, and cooking plant based food.
Dr. Zarek has been voted one of the top docs for Geriatric Medicine in Delaware Today magazine. In November 2022, she was board certified in Lifestyle Medicine.
Jayshree Tailor, MD, FACP, DIPABLM
Dr. Jayshree Tailor (she/her) is a board-certified internist and a fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Tailor graduated medical school in 1996 at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She completed her internship and residency at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas in 1999. Since then she has had a broad range of experiences practicing medicine.
Dr. Tailor is a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. Her practice of medicine is best described as a thorough practice of internal medicine principles, with the addition of evidence-based preventive approaches. Dr. Tailor seeks the healthiest possible outcome, and generally starts with a healthy lifestyle. She has been named a "Top Doc" in Delaware in 2020 and 2019.
In December 2023, she was board certified in Lifestyle Medicine.
Ronda Broady, DO, MBA, FAAFP, DIPABLM
Dr Broady (she/her) is a Family Medicine practitioner that has been providing care to patients of all ages for the past 20 years. Dr. Broady is a St Louis, Missouri native and started her journey into the field of medicine by attending Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in biology. Later, she completed her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). After working in Community Medicine, she developed a passion for concentrating her energies on prevention. As a result of working diligently in the area of public service and professional development, she received a Degree of Fellow of American Academy of Family Practice. She also strengthened her knowledge base in other regions of medicine and leadership by attending St Joseph’s University and obtaining her Healthcare Executive MBA. In addition, she finds that the art of listening and compassion for others is the central key of connecting with patients and improving trust. She was recognized in Patient Experience Week for Living Compassionately. Dr. Broady has served as a mentor to many medical students over the years and believes it is important to provide them with a foundation with their goals in the medical field. Dr. Broady enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, and exercise.

Emily nardone, PA-C, DipABLM
Emily Nardone (she/her) graduated with her Master's of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Arcadia University and is board certified in lifestyle medicine. She is originally from Wilmington, Delaware. Prior to graduate school, Emily attended the University of Delaware and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. Emily has a passion for women’s health, and enjoys counseling her patients on reproductive healthcare, including contraception management. Additionally, like her colleagues, Emily focuses on creating a safe space for persons of all sexual orientations and gender identities. Emily specializes in Gender Affirming Hormone Therapy for the transgender and gender diverse community, as well as PrEP therapy. She attended the Advancing Excellence in Transgender Health workshop through Fenway Health Center. Emily strives to always offer culturally sensitive and affirming support to the LBGTQIA+ community. Outside of work, Emily enjoys working out at Orangetheory Fitness, and taking trips to Stone Harbor.

Caitlyn McBride, PA-C, DIPABLM
Caitlyn McBride (she/her) graduated with her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Thomas Jefferson University. She is a member of Pi Alpha, the national honor society for Physician Assistants. Prior to PA school, Caitlyn attended Ithaca College where she studied Health Sciences. While at Ithaca College, Caitlyn competed as a member of the women’s varsity gymnastics team. During her free time Caitlyn loves coaching gymnastics, working with foster puppies, and spending time with friends and family.

Jennifer Gamble, PA-C
Born and raised in Hockessin, DE, Jennifer Gamble (she/her) attended University of Delaware where she received her Bachelor of Science in Medical Diagnostics with a minor in Biological Sciences and a concentration in Physician Assistant Studies. She graduated from the Marist College Physician Assistant Program in 2021 with her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Her love of the medical field stems from her childhood as a pediatric cancer patient. From a young age Jennifer developed a passion for medicine, specifically in regards to long term follow-up care. What Jennifer loves most about primary care is the bond that is formed between patients and their providers and the preventative and chronic care management that the specialty entails.
In her free time Jennifer enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and watching medical and true crime documentaries.
Halley Donlin, PA-C
Halley Donlin (she/her) is a graduate of Arcadia University’s Physician Assistant program and member of Pi Alpha, the physician assistant national honor society. Prior to PA school, she studied psychology at Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, PA and worked as a physical therapy aide at Elite Physical Therapy in Wilmington, DE. She is passionate about primary care as she values developing lasting and supportive relationships with patients. Outside of work, she enjoys coaching high school field hockey, running, skiing, playing with her dog, and reading.
Jessica Fink, FNP-C
Jessica Fink (she/her) is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has been working in healthcare for over seventeen years. Jessica graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Family Nurse Practitioner program at the University of New Mexico. She is intent on keeping her patients as empowered and independent as possible in their health journey. Jessica specializes in Gender Affirming Hormone Therapy for the transgender and gender diverse community, as well as PrEP therapy. She attended the Advancing Excellence in Transgender Health workshop offered via Harvard Medical School. She strives to always offer culturally sensitive and affirming support to the LBGTQIA+ community. Originally from the desert state of New Mexico, Jessica finally found home among the trees and rivers of Delaware.
Outside of work Jessica spends her time skating with the Diamond State Roller Derby team, adventuring in faraway places, putting together puzzles with her partner, fangirling over cats, and dreaming about her next hobby.
Suzie Long, MSN, CRNP
Suzie Long (she/her) is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN, CRNP). She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Family Health Nurse Practitioner Program(2004) and previously completed her undergraduate studies at The Chester County Hospital School of Nursing (Diploma RN) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Chester University in Pennsylvania. Suzie has been working as a Nurse Practitioner with community and family health as well as college health. As a nurse she worked in community and acute care health in New Hampshire, Vermont and Pennsylvania.
Suzie enjoys working with patients to discover their healthcare needs and find pathways toward reaching personal goals. She also has experience in reproductive health, LGBTIQ affirming, and trauma informed care. She believes that providing good healthcare is a collaborative process and works toward a team approach.
Suzie enjoys spending time with family, friends and their dog, Karma. When not working, she likes taking trips to the beach, travelling, swimming, and finding great dining experiences.
Corie Lewis, PA-C
Corrine (Corie) Lewis (she/her) graduated with her Master’s of Medical Science in Physician Assistant studies from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2011. Prior to PA School, Corie attended Mount Olive College where she received her bachelor’s degree in biology with minors in chemistry and exercise science. While at Mount Olive College, Corie played on the women’s volleyball team. Corie has worked in both primary care and urgent care prior to joining Progressive Health of Delaware.
Outside of work, Corie enjoys spending time with her family, working out, and listening to music.
Frank Vera, ACSM-CEP
Frank Vera is a clinical exercise physiologist and certified corrective exercise specialist by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He graduated with a Master of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion with an emphasis in rehabilitation science from California University of Pennsylvania in 2017. He is originally from Laredo, Texas. Prior to graduate school, Frank completed his undergraduate coursework at Texas Lutheran University receiving his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science.
Over the last 12 years, Frank has refined his clinical skills in the fields of cardiac rehabilitation, medical fitness, and lifestyle medicine. Frank specializes in creating individualized treatment plans, developing exercise prescriptions, and implementing scientifically proven risk-factor reduction lifestyle interventions for the management of many chronic diseases in various age groups and populations. Most recently, he was the clinical program manager at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City operating and managing the outpatient cardiac rehabilitation and medical fitness program. During that time, he was elected President of the New York State Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, co-authored a chapter in a Lifestyle Medicine textbook, and created New York City’s first ever virtual cardiac rehabilitation program.
Although his ambitious professional goals keep him busy, Frank enjoys cycling, trail-running, and staying fit. But most importantly, he loves spending time with his wife Bernadette and 3-year-old daughter Layla.
Denise Lano, PA-C
Denise Lano (she/her) is a graduate of the Essex Community College (now Towson State University) PA Program and has been practicing for over 30 years in Family Medicine and Occupational Medicine. Prior to PA school, she graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.A. in Biology and minor in English Literature.
Originally from Wilmington, Denise has lived in Kalamazoo, Baltimore, and Cecil County, Maryland. She is married and has four daughters, five bonus children, two grandchildren, and two dogs. She is a member of her church choir and is an accomplished flutist. In her spare time she enjoys reading, antiquing, attending concerts, and traveling, including mission trips to Panama, Philippines, and Honduras. Other hobbies include sewing, crochet, and cooking.
Bhav Patel, PA-C
Bhav Patel (he/him) graduated with his Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from Thomas Jefferson University. Prior to PA school, Bhav attended Temple University where he received his Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience. He is looking forward to becoming board-certified in Lifestyle Medicine. He enjoys primary care because of the ability to establish long-term patient relationships built on mutual trust and respect. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching sports, and playing volleyball and tennis.

Stephanie Farmer, DNP, NP-C
Dr. Stephanie Farmer (she/her) is an Adult Nurse Practitioner and graduate of the University of South Florida with a Master of Science in Adult Health Nursing. Her undergraduate nursing degrees were completed at Drexel University and Cecil College. She completed her post-graduate Doctor of Nursing in 2019 at American Sentinel University. Originally from Maryland, Stephanie has over 28 years of diverse nursing experience and a strong interest in patient-centered care, and healthier populations. Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys hiking and live music.
Jessica Casale, FNP-C
Jessica Casale (she/her) is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). She graduated from the University of Delaware Family Nurse Practitioner Program with her Master of Science in Nursing, prior to that completed her undergraduate degree at University of Delaware. Jessica has been serving the Newark, Delaware community for over 15 years as a Nurse Practitioner. Jessica has a passion for women’s health, and enjoys counseling her patients on reproductive healthcare, including contraception management. Additionally, like her colleagues, Jessica focuses on creating a safe space for persons of all sexual orientations and gender identities. What Jessica loves about primary care is the teamwork between the patient and the provider. Great goals can be achieved when everyone is working together.
Outside of work Jessica enjoys her vegetable garden, beach days and spending time with her family.
Alyssa Tarburton, PA-C, DIPABLM
Alyssa Tarburton (she/her) is a graduate of Arcadia University’s Physician Assistant Program. Before beginning PA school, Alyssa studied biology at Ursinus College. Alyssa worked in urgent care for several years prior to joining Progressive Health of Delaware. She is originally from Allentown, PA, but relocated to the area for PA school. Outside of work Alyssa enjoys reading, playing with her dog, Maddy, and spending time with her family and friends.

Kelsey Doyle, MSN, CRNP, NP-C
Kelsey Doyle (she/her) is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Delaware with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing before going on to complete her Master of Science in Family Practice Nursing at Drexel University. Kelsey has over ten years of nursing experience, both in the hospital and community setting. She is passionate about the importance of primary care and enjoys creating a comfortable and relaxed environment for patients to help navigate their healthcare needs and goals.
Kelsey enjoys spending time with her family and young daughter, attending Philadelphia 76ers games, traveling to tropical destinations, wine tastings and trying the latest French restaurants.

Natalie Outslay, MS C-HWC
Natalie Outslay (she/her) joined the Progressive Health team in September of 2020. She has been a Certified Health & Wellness Coach since 2009. Originally from Western NY (Go Bills !) Natalie graduated from Ithaca College ’93 and University of Delaware ’95 with a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology. Natalie is passionate about helping others achieve optimal health and well-being through Lifestyle Medicine coaching. Outside of work, she enjoys cheering for her teen's sports, time with family and friends, travel, and tennis.
Annie Murphy, MS C-HWC
Annie Murphy (she/her) is so very excited to be a new team member for PHOD! She is a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach with a BS and MS in Exercise Physiology from University of DE. She is excited to support our patients to make positive lifestyle changes, that have the power to make a real difference in people’s lives. Outside of work, Annie likes to spend time with her family, hiking, playing pickleball, skiing and ballroom dancing.
David Donohue, MD FACP FACLM
Dr. Dave Donohue (he/him) is a board-certified internist and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He is the husband of Dr. Zarek and a medical school classmate of Dr. Tailor.
In November 2017, Dr. Donohue was in the first wave of physicians board-certified by the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. He is Delaware's first board certified lifestyle medicine physician.
Dr. Donohue has an IT background, and worked 15 years as a software architect for the DuPont company. He graduated from Brandywine High School and then attended Rice University. He received a MS in Molecular Biology from Stanford University. He graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in 1997, and completed his residency in primary care Internal Medicine at George Washington University in 2000.
Dr. Donohue no longer conducts primary care visits at Progressive Health of Delaware. He continues to serve Progressive Health as Chief Medical Officer.
