Senior Centers
Two of the pillars of Lifestyle Medicine are community and exercise. For some of our older adults, these might be areas in their life that are lacking. In North Wilmington, we are fortunate to have a senior center on Silverside Rd. The Seller Senior Center hosts social events, exercise classes, and more. We heard the chair exercise classes with Eric on Mon, Weds, Friday at 9:15am and 10:30am are excellent! Only $3 a class! Membership is only $25 for the year. See their newsletter with events here.
The Newark Senior Center has been highly recommended. 302-737-2336. 200 Whitechapel Drive. $33 per year for the membership.
