Dr. David Donohue and Progressive Health are pleased to offer you an opportunity to reverse your hypertension, in a 6 week GROUP program beginning Wednesday April 19.
The program will run on Zoom, on Wednesdays for 55 minutes, from 12 pm to 12:55 pm.
We will offer dozens of new scientific insights and skills that can help you heal your blood vessels and your overall health. We expect anyone who completes these 6 one-hour sessions may be able to lower their blood pressure, lose weight, reduce medicines, and feel better overall.

What is the cost?
This is a medical program. We will bill your insurance for each virtual visit. You will be responsible for your usual copays or deductibles. We do not charge anything on top of those costs.
Who would benefit?
Anyone with hypertension or high blood pressure, or other forms of vascular disease.
When will it be offered?
This program will be offered one time only. We have no plans to offer it any other time. So please take advantage!

How does a group program work?
You will join a Zoom meeting with Dr. Donohue like any other telehealth visit. Other participants will join as well. You can share your insights and questions with the group, and learn from Dr. Donohue and the other participants.
What are advantages and disadvantages of a group program?
You will not have as much personalized attention as you would at a 1-on-1 medical visit. But Dr. Donohue will have time to provide very deep education and science, and advanced testing, that are not currently possible in a traditional 1-on-1 office visit. Most people find the interaction with other participants to be exciting and helpful.
What additional optional services will you offer?
FREE: Join Dr. Donohue and other participants on Saturday April 22 for an Earth Day tree planting and park cleanup followed by a 1-mile walk in the park.
FREE: Join Dr. Donohue and other participants on Sunday April 23 at 5:30 PM for a free healthy “Unity Soup” meal for World Food Healers Day.
$$: TOTALLY OPTIONAL: You can choose to get advanced blood testing from Boston Heart Lab before and after, on a host of important health measures. Science has moved on from 50+ years ago when the current lipid profile and basic metabilic panel were discovered. The advanced blood testing will include actionable, modern markers of health, including Lp(a), ApoE genotype, ApoB, omega-3 panel, advanced inflammatory markers, a marker of vascular health, and more. This may or may not be covered by your health insurance. Insurance often covers this testing, but you should be prepared to pay hundreds of dollars if they do not.

$20: Cheryl Marshall will offer 2 sessions of Food for Life, catered to foods that lower blood pressure. Classes will be virtual, May 4 and May 9 at 6:30pm. Cost is $10 per session
