Second Doses of COVID Vaccine Now Opened for State of Delaware

We apologize that the previous link for second doses did not work. Here is updated information below. We are hoping to continue to get a small supply of COVID vaccine for our patients as well. If you are over age 65 and have not completed our survey, please do so now:

Registration for the second-dose Curative events at Delaware Tech campuses in each of our state’s three counties opened at 10 a.m. February 11.

These events will be held from Monday, February 15 to Friday, February 19, at DelTech campuses in Wilmington, Dover and Georgetown.

In total, 3,800 second-dose appointments will be available. The DelTech events are planned for Phase 1A Delaware workers and seniors ages 65 and older who received their first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine at the Dover DMV or Salesianum state-sponsored, large-scale vaccination events on or before January 18.

If you qualify, click the links below to register for an event closest to you:

Wilmington: https://curative.com/sites/25122

Dover: https://curative.com/sites/25081

Georgetown: https://curative.com/sites/25123

If the vaccination event nearest you no longer has open appointments, eligible individuals are permitted to register at any of the above vaccination sites.

Anyone without proof of first vaccination on or before January 18 at the Dover DMV or Salesianum will be turned away, even if they have an appointment. If you lost your vaccination card, email your full name and date of birth to vaccine@delaware.gov or call 1(833) 643-1715.

Delawareans who received their first vaccination on or before January 18 at an enrolled pharmacy or health care provider should contact their provider or pharmacy to schedule a second dose appointment before attempting to register for a state-sponsored event. Second-dose vaccines will be allocated to enrolled providers as close to the 21- to 28-day window as federal supply allows.

Additional state-sponsored, second-dose events are expected to begin as early as February 20.

First Dose Information

We expect to get a small number of vaccines in the future to give to our sickest patients. If you have NOT registered already by filling out our form, please do so here:

We WISH we could receive more vaccines! We correspond with the Delaware Department of Public Health to advocate for more doses, but they are similarly limited in available doses.
